Handling Guide

Heavy Machinery & Furniture Securing

How we load heavy items safely without scratching polished surfaces.

01 Heavy Stacking & Weight Balancing

Loading cargo containers requires deep understanding of truck axle weight parameters. Placing heavy almirahs or metal refrigerators incorrectly on one side can tip the balance of trucks on highway curves. Our supervisor plans cardbox distribution, aligning the center of gravity to prevent truck balance issues. We ensure that heavier industrial items, steel safes, and solid wood double beds are loaded first, placing them securely on the vehicle bed to act as a solid foundation.

Fragile boxes containing glassware, porcelain, and electronics are systematically stacked on top using customized partition boards to avoid squash impacts or compression damage. Our crew avoids stacking heavy items over light boxes, maintaining a strict weight hierarchy that prevents any structural collapse of cargo during high-speed highway transit.

Additionally, we utilize vertical space management techniques, ensuring that items are packed tightly with no empty voids. Voids are filled with soft foam sheets or blankets to eliminate internal movement entirely.

02 Securing web belts & non-slip mats

During transits, items inside trucks slide due to highway potholes, speed bumps, and sudden emergency brakes. To combat this, we place heavy rubber non-slip mats below furniture feet and wrap heavy almirahs with strong nylon webbing belts locked directly to the container walls. This prevents any shifting and scraping against the metal container body.

  • Web belts prevent side-to-side movements of cargo on mountain routes and winding highway sweeps.
  • Corner foam wedges and thick edge protectors shield cabinet edges from scraping container walls.
  • Heavy-duty cargo nets secure smaller carton boxes near the truck door, preventing falls when doors open.

Every belt is tightened using mechanical steel ratchets, locking the load securely to the structural ribs of the vehicle chassis for absolute rigidity.

03 Systematic Destination Unloading & Placement

Unloading at the destination is executed with the same rigorous care as the initial loading. Rather than dump boxes in a single pile, our supervisor cross-references the master inventory list. Each box and piece of furniture is systematically sorted and routed to its designated room (e.g., master bedroom, kitchen, kids' room) as marked on the packaging labels.

To protect your new home from damage, we lay down floor protection runners and temporary cardboard sheets along major traffic paths. This avoids scratch marks, scuffs, and dirt on clean marble or wooden flooring. Heavy wardrobes and beds are placed directly on protective felt pads, allowing safe minor adjustments without scraping floor surfaces.

Our crew handles the final placement, double-checking alignment and stability before completing the hand-off. We only sign off once every item is placed precisely where you want it.

Pre-Loading Safety Checks

  • Building society pass: Secure necessary permissions for truck entry and elevator usage prior to loading time.
  • Clear pathway: Maintain clear corridors and doors to facilitate quick carry maneuvers by loaders.
  • Trained crew lead: A dedicated supervisor monitors stacking heights and harness locks inside the truck.

Transit Cover Valuation

FAQ Desk

Loading & Unloading FAQs

Frequently asked questions regarding secure household loading.

Do loaders use specialized lifting gear?

Yes. Our team utilizes hydraulic tailgates, pallet jacks, dolly rollers, and heavy-duty hand trucks. This prevents physical drops and slides during carry transits.

What happens if my building has no elevator?

Our loaders are trained to carry heavy almirahs down stairs carefully. Please specify floor levels and stairs constraints in the inquiry form so we schedule the correct manpower.

Are loading and unloading included in standard relocation?

Yes. Our comprehensive packers and movers quotes include complete labor for packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and basic unpacking reassembly.

Do you inspect cargo weights before departure?

Our supervisor runs a physical inventory checklist audit during loading, verifying item counts and box numbers against bills before sealing truck containers.
